What Can You Put in a Skip?
Not sure what you can throw away in your skip? Most everyday household, garden and building waste is fine, making our skips ideal for clear-outs, DIY jobs and renovation work.
Suitable waste includes
- Bricks and rubble
- Timber and wood
- Garden waste
- Household rubbish
- Tiles and renovation waste
- General non-hazardous commercial waste
Items we can't take
Some waste requires specialist disposal and must not be placed in our skips. This includes asbestos, chemicals, paints, liquids, gas cylinders, tyres, batteries, medical waste and electrical appliances such as fridges and televisions.
Some items may have additional restrictions depending on the type and quantity of waste.
Not sure? Just ask.
If you're unsure whether something can go in your skip, contact East Anglia Skip Hire before loading it. Our team can advise you on the right option and help make sure your waste is disposed of properly.
